1- Is it possible to have exclusive use of the Palace for our wedding?
The Palace will be reserved exclusively for your wedding, with no other events taking place at the same time. Owners and venue managers are permitted in the venue anytime, without prior notice. Exclusive use of the venue is subject to the terms and conditions of the booking.
2- How long can we use the venue for?
The venue rental includes an 8-hour period, covering the ceremony, a 1.5-hour cocktail reception, dinner, cake cutting and 2 hours of open bar service.
Additional hours may be available at an extra cost and are subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
3- How many guests can Palácio da Fonte Nova accommodate?
Palácio da Fonte Nova can accommodate up to 100 wedding guests, with indoor seating for up to 60 guests.
Our wedding packages offer different starting prices depending on the day of the week and the wedding season.

5- Is it possible to get ready or have a first look at Palácio da Fonte Nova?
Yes, you can get ready or enjoy a special first-look moment at Palácio da Fonte Nova. Please note that additional venue rental fees will apply for these services, subject to availability and the applicable terms and conditions.
6- Is it possible to hold the wedding ceremony at the Palace?
Yes, the Palace offers both indoor and outdoor spaces that may be suitable for your wedding civil or symbolic ceremony. The choice of location will depend on your preferred setup, the number of guests and the applicable venue conditions.
A €1,000 + VAT discount applies to wedding packages that do not include a ceremony.
7- Is there an indoor backup option in case of bad weather?
If the dinner is planned to take place outdoors, it is important to bear in mind that there is no indoor alternative with a capacity of more than 60 guests. Therefore, for events with more than 60 guests, the indoor space cannot accommodate all attendees for dinner.
We recommend taking this into consideration from the early stages of planning, so that the available options can be assessed and the most suitable solution for your event can be determined.
8- Can we choose between an indoor and an outdoor dinner?
The possibility of holding the dinner indoors or outdoors depends on the number of guests, the event layout and the availability of the spaces. Our team will be happy to help you assess the option that best suits your plans.
9- Can we personalise the wedding décor?
The wedding décor can be tailored to your preferred concept and style, subject to the venue’s applicable conditions and restrictions. We will be delighted to discuss your ideas for the final arrangements.
10- How long do the wedding reception and music services last?
The wedding package includes seven hours of catering service, starting at the beginning of the cocktail reception, and eight hours of music service, starting when guests arrive at the venue.
The music service includes background music, microphones and speakers for speeches, a DJ, a professional sound system and LED disco lighting.
From 10:00 pm onwards, the party moves to a designated area where there are no sound restrictions, allowing you and your guests to celebrate and dance freely.
Additional hours of catering, DJ service and open bar can be arranged at an extra cost, subject to availability and the applicable terms and conditions.
11- How much does it cost to extend the open bar?
For a group of 50 guests, extending the open bar costs €1500 + €12 p.p+ VAT per additional hour.
12- Are there any special offers for weddings?
Yes, special discounts are available for weddings booked under the following conditions:

13- What discounts are available if I choose a low-season Monday wedding? And without an on-site ceremony?
For a Monday wedding during the low season, you can benefit from a €1,500 + VAT discount on your wedding package.
If you choose not to hold your ceremony at the venue, you can benefit from a €1,000 + VAT reduction on your wedding package.
14- Does the Palace offer on-site parking?
The Palace offers on-site parking. Parking capacity and conditions of use should be confirmed in advance, particularly for events with a large number of guests.
15- Is accommodation available at the Palace?
The Palace is an event venue and does not offer accommodation for guests. Accommodation options in the surrounding Sintra area may be considered, depending on the needs of your group.
