Forte da Cruz was built in the 17th century as a family house and fort for the royals. The original name for this venue was Forte da Cruz de Santo António d'Assubida which was changed to the current name, Forte da Cruz. Nowadays, this castle is still a private house owned by a noble family. It’s an ideal venue for small rustic weddings as it is very intimate and “family size.”
The versatility of Forte da Cruz rooms, the romantic charm of the music room, and the cozy ambiance of the reception room offer an unforgettable setting for treasured memories. To accommodate more intimate wedding events and parties, Wedding Venues Portugal now offers a small wedding package for 20 wedding guests at the price of €8,500. You can add extra guests to your luxury wedding guest list at 150€ per guest. The maximum number of guests for this small wedding package is 70 people.
This intimate wedding package allows for wedding ceremony to take place in the magnificent terraces at the oceanfront and moves the reception to the greenhouse or the Noble Room whose rustic charm and great-looking floor plans are easily converted for any look and feel. Catering service options allow for a family-style experience.
